Bosco's Mercantile is seeking a seasoned and enthusiastic Retail Store Manager to join our team. As our Store Manager your primary function is being accountable for all aspects of the store’s commercial success including: generate sales, client development, managing staff, developing and maintaining client relationships and running store operations. The Store Manager will work closely with the owner to create a partnership that drives the business. Visual Merchandising is a key operation in driving sales and creating an exciting shopping experience. You will directly partner with the owner on shop visuals, product knowledge, creating target goals and participate in all aspects of the business. We are looking for a partnership and someone who takes pride in running a business.
Compensation for this position is structured as an hourly rate with the opportunity for sales commission based on goals and performance.
RESPONSABILITIES:
Oversee inventory management, including receiving shipments, inputing inventory, conducting stock counts and manage online orders
Responsible for the achievement of annual store sales goals; daily, monthly, yearly across all product categories.
Provide impeccable customer service while educating our customers about the brands we carry and assisting them in finding products that meet their needs.
Continue to grow our customer data base, Initiate and develop long term relationships with clients, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere
Maintain an excellent level of product knowledge: brands, sizing, fits, fabrics and trends
Gather, analyze and communicate sales performance and trends to provide ideas and solutions to increase business
Develop strategies to drive sales, thinking outside the box to generate new business and a commitment to expanding our customer base.
Track and log relevant KPI's
Help to coordinate, monitor and report on daily operations
Must have experience managing a team of associates
Assisting with the development of new sales and recruitment strategies
Help supervise and train employees
Train all staff members on the brands directives
Oversee all operational processes including: All POS functions, maintenance and organization of store and stock, receiving inventory
Understand and Implement visual floor merchandising
Maintain and uphold a professional, healthy and productive work environment.
Cleaning the store on a regular basis with dusting, mopping and general cleaning.
Work with the Marketing Team to partner on events, social media, ecommerce and sales promotions
Maintaining a clean, organized and aesthetically pleasing store and store front
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required 4+ years retail management experience
Knowledge of bedding, home goods or textiles is a plus.
Required previous experience in luxury fashion or designer retail.
Strong problem-solver
Able to balance multiple tasks while being customer centric and goal oriented
Ability to be pro-active and make quick decisions
Self starter and promoter
Enjoy client experience and meeting and exceeding goals
Ability to communicate effectively and build strong partnerships with clients and store team
Proficient in excel, word, basic retail math, and squareup pos system
